After a slow start we gradually got on top and once we scored our rather fortunate opening goal there was no stopping us and the goals then followed at regular intervals, with the pick of the bunch being Jimmy Higgins 25 yard effort into the top corner and Wacko's drive from an acute angle that ripped into the Ipswich net.
There was good performance by all the players today but a special mention to Wacko who is going to give Andy a real run for his money down that left hand side, Jimmy Higgins who continues to get better with each game and is also begining to form a strong partnership in the middle of the park with Chris Singleton. So all in all it was great run out for all the team and I think everybody went away having enjoyed the game.
Thanks to Ipswich Lads for making the effort to get to our place and we will of course be returning the favour by visiting their place some time next season.
